Founded in 1582, Salta has preserved its historic district almost intact. The Basilica Cathedral, San Francisco Church, the MAAM — High Altitude Archaeology Museum — and Paseo Güemes are just some of the places you can walk to from the hotel in under 10 minutes.

Our history
A hotel with its own identity, at the best point in Salta
The space where Selina Salta now stands used to be an old residence that housed travelers coming and going from different places, taking advantage of the proximity to the station of what we now know as the Train to the Clouds, named after getting wrapped in condensed steam due to the extreme cold it traveled through at the heights of the Argentine Puna.
